Saturn in Aquarius | Saturn Transit Results - Nakshatra Based Analysis

With the transit of Saturn in Aquarius, there can be several methods of determining the result of the combination. However there is one very effective technique in astrological texts that is based on the ancient predictive method using panchang elements and nakshatra. To explain simply, Saturn gives its result based on its vehicle and the vehicle is determined by a simple mathematical calculation using the different panchang elements. There are two methods to determine the vehicle of transiting Saturn.  

1. VEHICLE of SATURN =day on Saturn’s transit + number of tithi on transit day +moon’s nakshatra number +one’s nakshatra number /9. 

2. VEHICLE of SATURN = one’s birth nakshatra number + nakshatra on the day of transit/9. 

Method listed as number 1 seems to be more effective as it takes day, Tithi and nakshatra for calculation., however both can be used to get a complete understanding of the results. Vehicle of Saturn is determined from the remainder 1 to 9 accordingly result is assigned.  The respective Vehicle or Vaahana for each number is given below:

2. Horse

3. Elephant

4. Buffalo

5. Lion

6. Jackal

7. Crow

8. Peacock

9. Swan

Today, Saturn transited to Aquarius from Capricorn. Today is Tuesday which is 3rd from Sunday. Tithi is Krishna Ekadashi – so tithi number is 26. Today Moon nakshatra is Anuradha – which is 17th nakshatra from Ashwini. If, you have to calculate Saturn Vahan for Ashwini born than Vahan is calculated this way.  

 Day number (3) + tithi number (26) +moon nakshatra number (17) + one’s nakshatra number Ashwini (1)  

 3+26+17+1 = 47/9 = 2 remainder – so the Vahan of Saturn is Horse – according to Vahan Ashwini people will get result. In this way Vahan of Saturn for all nakshatra is calculated.
